Semi-Solid Die Casting (SSDC) Machinery:
Semi-solid die casting, or Thixoforming, is a modified die casting process that heats a metal alloy to a semi-solid, “slushy” state and injects it into a mold. This process is highly valuable for aerospace manufacturing because it creates components with excellent strength, reduced porosity, and high dimensional accuracy, making them suitable for structural applications. It allows for complex, near-net-shape parts with thinner walls to reduce weight, combining the design flexibility of casting with the strength of forging.
